Many of the influential personnel who are involved in Muaythai are
also actively engaged in charitable works, large or small.
All agreed that the issue of youth drug abuse is one of the biggest
problems in modern society.

"Using Muaythai to help the young is our main goal" - a simple but profound message form His Excellency General Pichitr Kullavanijaya, Privy Councillor to His Majesty the King of Thailand, IFMA Honorary Chairman and President of the "Muaythai Against Drugs" world campaign.
The Muaythai Against Drugs Foundation allows those involved in Muaythai an opportunity to give something to society by using the program to stop drug abuse, take underprivileged kids away from the street, create healthy body, mind and lifestyle.

SAMA is proud to be part of this campaign. Sifu Quentin Chong president of the SAMA chairs the Muaythai against Drugs Foundation in South Africa and will continue working on youth development programs for the benefit and future of young generations worldwide. Drug abuse knows no boundaries. We all need to show the same resolve by uniting together.
The Muaythai development program has been running every Saturday for the last 10 years. At present we have the Amy Biehl foundation on board whom share the same vision as us.

For the last 3 years we have made three boys dreams come true, by sending them to the world Muaythai champs 2006, 2007 in Thailand and 2008 in Korea to represent South Africa and been awarded their Protea colours through SASCO, they both have won medals by coming 2nd and 3rd in the world. In the future we are hoping to make more dreams come true in Cape Town and the rest of South Africa.

One of our development projects is to build a Muaythai home
which incorporated with the Muaythai fitness centre in the
development townships with the outlook of having the fitness centre
visible to the community, in a secured environment where by the
community can see the development of the future decision
makers.
The centres will be equipped to do the following:
• A fully equipped gym area
• Muaythai training area with rings
• The centre will be designed in such away that
it can be used for multipurpose like staging local, National and
International events
• Education rooms - Muaythai educational
Training programs which will cover Muaythai and Gym Personal
Training and sports management.
• Seminar rooms - At present we are in
partnership of Emerging Women of Worth CODE TEEN program, the
program is designed for teenage women to help them with Positive
self-image for the 21st Century girl, drug issues, discovering your
identity and mapping your future.
• Dormitories - To house the Development team
under the banner "Muaythai homes" the dormitories can also be used
for the international, national guests.

Please note that the program is open to all organisation; as kids are our future, however one must join through the appropriate channels. Contact us on (021) 418 8888 or email: info@dragonpower.co.za
